Buoyed by my 100% accuracy in Round 3, here are my Amlin Challenge Cup predictions for Round 4.
Again, there are a few fixtures that look fairly one-sided, but there are always one or two that threaten to catch you out.
This week, Harlequins travel to Connacht, which is usually a tricky place to get a result, but the home side have lost their last few matches in the Magners League, and Quins victory in Round 3 ought to give them the confidence to win at the Sportsground.
Newcastle v Exeter is a tricky one again, but the Chiefs were convincing winners at Sandy Park, and although it’s a very long way from Kingston Park, I’m backing them to make it consecutive wins against the Falcons.
Here are my predictions for this weekend’s fixtures:
Stade Francais Paris v Bucuresti Oaks: Stade Francais Paris by 33
Connacht Rugby v Harlequins: Harlequins by 8
SU Agen v Rugby Rovigo: SU Agen by 22
I Cavalieri Estra v Bayonne: Bayonne by 19
Bourgoin v Montpellier: Montpellier by 21
Crociati Rugby v Leeds Carnegie: Leeds Carnegie by 23
Newcastle Falcons v Exeter Chiefs: Exeter Chiefs by 8
Sale Sharks v Brive: Brive by 8
Gloucester Rugby v La Rochelle: Gloucester Rugby by 17
