Another Six Nations week on The Rugby Blog

After a week’s break in the Six Nations, the action returns at the weekend (Friday night, in fact) and we’ll have the usual build up here on The Rugby Blog.

Teams will be announced in the next day or two, so there will no doubt be plenty to discuss as we look forward to France v Wales, Ireland v England and Scotland v Italy – two of the games should be exciting anyway.

We’ll also have a Guinness Premiership roundup from the latest round of games as well as our predictions for next week in the Six Nations, Super 14 and the Guinness Premiership.

Have a good week – we’re excited about it.

  1. A great improvement and I think Flood did enough to get a start against Ireland. He distributed the ball well. I just hope he remains consistent throughout the 80 minutes. And that was the Flutey that everyone had been waiting to see. It’s interesting in that he’s played his best stuff when Cipriani hasn’t been on the pitch. And I still think Sackey needs to offer more over 80 minutes. I see Simpson-Daniel had another great game for Gloucester. Two impressive breaks. What does he have to do to just get on the bench?!

If England had started the first few minutes of the second half better it could’ve been a completely different game.

The whole weekend didn’t go as I expected. I really thought Ireland and France would kick on a bit more than they did.
