If I recall correctly, the scoreline was 3-22 when he was subbed. He just seemed to be trying too hard to dig Sale out of the hole they were in. His replacement seemed to go back to basics as opposed to delving into a box of tricks, which worked for the Sharks.

Sale didn’t look “significantly worse” when Danny went off at all – we didn’t improve, probably stayed about the same, but you’re doing a great disservice to Ford’s performance. We scored some great tries with Ford at 10, and he’s played very well when given his shot this season.

We’re going to need all the grit and determination we showed against Saints, and then some. I hope the forecast rain materialises, to be honest!

Quins are playing well at just the right time, but you’re guys have played some scintillating rugby this season.
If you were at home I’d say the game was yours to lose, but away at the Stoop is a very difficult one to call.

Saracens have found themselves in a good position, losing to Leicester means they avoid them in the semi, and if they somehow manage to win, it would give them a huge mental boost for the play offs given the team they have put out.

The other games seem a bit dry, shame Cipriani and JOC won’t be playing against each other.

As it is, this XV minus Guinazu did manage the draw against Saints, so here’s hoping. Going to be a nailbiter for all Bath and Quins fans…

Sarries only have three regular players in the whole matchday squad in George, Hodgson and Gill. Every other position is filled with either Academy players or guys from the second team.
It is a perfect opportunity for George to put his hand up for the NZ tour. Especially if Webber is not fit.
