Citizen Try of the Week: Round 6

Each week, five tries are shortlisted for the Citizen Try of the Week award, and you can see them in the video below.

Rhys Priestland, Ben Vellacott, Ben Youngs, Jack Nowell and Joe Marchant have made the shortlist for Round 6.

Citizen are also offering you the chance to vote in their Try of the Week competition where they’ll be highlighting the best tries of each round. To enter simply watch the video and vote for your favourite on the Premiership Rugby website.

Each month, Citizen will pick one lucky winner who, subject to availability, will win a watch up to the value of £500 from their range.

  1. Whilst a lot of these are made from some impressive running, passing and kicking my vote goes to Joe Marchant for his (probably) once in a lifetime wonder try.

  2. Always ind it difficult to single 1 out as I like & admire all creativity. I therefore want to vote for the lot! However, even though there’s bound to be some degree of subjectivity in picking 1 try out, I’m opting for Cipriani’s creation. He not only makes the initial break, but takes the return pass by continuing with his running line, then he draws the TWO defenders before caressing the infield kick, placing it on a sixpence for his team mate to score as near as possible to the posts. Mudgic!
