Chris Ashton will still be searching for his best form, but with Banahan on the left wing because everyone else (apart from Simpson-Daniel) is injured, that will take some of the heat away from him.

Mike Brown will be world player of the year, and still considered not fit to lace Ben Fodens boots (who will still be injured of course).

Robshaw will still be captain but only because Croft is injured, Hartley is banned and Parling keeps getting tackled by Lawes in training.

With Saracens and Leicester in the championship final, and Gloucester relegated, Andy Goode will be playing 10 because of Ford’s lack of experience, Botica has usurped Carter, Barrett and Cruden for NZ because England didn’t fancy him, and Cipriani is considering Italy for the same reason.

Probably.

I don’t want to make myself look foolish my making predictions, but I have some hopes for next summer. Being; a) don’t get thrashed in any match – always be competitive. b) show we can play good rugby. c) win a game in NZ

First two and musts, my third point is more of a hope.

I am sure they have plenty of fond memories from their time in there during Rugby World Cup”

Slightly tongue in cheek maybe? Lock up your dwarves England are in town!

Dismayed over the scheduling farce, France did catch New Zealand a bit cold at the start of the first test this year and doing the same seemed our only hope.
