I have to say I thought Barritt’s limitations were horribly exposed in the AP final. I wonder whether his days are numbered as a first choice for club and country. Defence will only get you so far…

Agree with Jacob, there wasn’t really any chance of Slade getting called up now, even though he impressed in yesterday’s game. The fact is Burns and Cipriani were chosen over him when the first squad flew to NZ last week and Farrell and Myler were always going to be called up now. Four fly halves (plus Goode) is probably too many already so no chance of a fifth.

Well Slade can’t play in the first test after playing against the BaaBaas. And they’ve taken Myler and Farrell, so that’s four fly half’s out there. So I’m not sure why they’d need a fifth for three matches?

Mako has had surgery and is out of the tour. The comment on injuries we in regard to the guys that are flying out. Mako is not flying out.

“no major injuries which would prevent anyone flying” but still no Mako? Am I missing something, or has he dropped down the pecking order that much?
