The Rom team will be better than what’s been sent so far. It’ll be a true league side, their strongest, instead of what was basically a group of youngsters thrown in together. OK they’ll have to qualify, but they should be able to.

Qualifying competition a little disappointing, especially with Bucharest Wolves having done so well in the Amlin this year, I was hoping for a bit more expansion with other clubs having a chance to qualify and compete against the teams from the “top” countries. Hopefully that will expand, but this is a great announcement and hopefully things can go on successfully.

Thank you Ritchie! I doubt any agreement would have been reached without him.

Tinge of disappointment the qualifying tournament will only have 8-12 teams, hopefully this can grow over time.

I was getting worried this was taking so long to finalise and Italians confusing matters over their own Pro12 battles.

Thankfully the game can now move on from the farce of the last 2 years.
