Guinness Premiership Predictions for rearranged fixtures

As the sun shines in London this afternoon, the snow and frozen pitches that led to the postponement of these two games in January seems like a very distant memory.

Harlequins face Worcester whilst Bath take on Wasps this evening, with both Away sides playing their second of three games within a week, and it is mainly for that reason that I have gone for two Home victories.

Harlequins have looked very difficult to beat at The Stoop this year and should easily overcome a struggling Worcester side. The visitors are resting several players that lost heavily to Bristol at the weekend, whilst Quins are almost at full-strength.

Wasps have also made several changes for their trip to Bath, and I can’t see Bath losing at The Rec even if James Haskell and Tom Rees do appear from the bench.

I’m wondering if Worcester and Wasps have already written these games off and don’t want to put the rest of their fixtures in jeopardy by over-stretching their players.

Here are my SuperBru picks:

Game 201: Harlequins v Worcester Warriors: Harlequins by 22
Game 200: Bath Rugby v London Wasps: Bath Rugby by 11
