This weekend’s results has made things even closer at the bottom of the Guinness Premiership table, and the race is on to avoid relegation to the Championship.

  1. The home games become so important when you need to avoid relegation. Looking at the fixtures Worcs have the toughest home games and I think it might be them going down.

    Sale are at the bottom but they have a game in hand and I think they will survive.

  2. I agree that home games could make the difference David, but the games these sides have to play against each other are also crucial.

    Sale have to play both Newcastle and Worcester and a defeat by either/both of these teams will probably seal their fate.

    The game between Leeds and Worcester is a big game though.

    I don’t know – it’s really tough to call at the moment.

    As a Leeds fan obviously I hope that Leeds will stay up. I don’t think my heart could take it if we were to get relegated again, especially after our recent performances. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that Leeds are timing it to perfection, and the two week break between now and the Gloucester game won’t see them losing all of their winning momentum.

    It’s going to be an exciting end to the season!
