Remind me why I back the Irish provinces again – just rubbish can’t win a game between them. (Just joking before I get shot down!) Great turnaround of fortunes by Northampton – probably the most surprising of the results, although didn’t expect Glos to put London Irish to the sword like that.

Clermont!
They look to have the hunger that Leinster had in previous years, but Harlequins, Ulster, and Toulon are my other tips as contenders. I fancy Clermont this year though. To beat the champions back to back, and in some style in the away leg, suggests they mean business this year.

Great weekend so far. Os putting it to Toulouse to keep that group exciting, Trevino showing how hard it now is to go to Italy and win, something the pro 12 teams have known for a while now.

Mostly agreed on the results. But there will be at least one or two surprises as usual.

Treviso could well turn over Leicester in Italy, and Ospreys won’t be an easy game for Toulouse. I’d also be confident in picking Munster to beat Saracens.

Sadly I don’t see Zebre keeping to within 30 points…

I’m hoping that Leicester don’t let up as much as they did last week. I called the game a bigger margin because they ought to have had sufficient a bollocking to straighten that out this week. Can’t say I disagreed with any of the picks really.

Biarritz shocked me last week, I’m most on the fence about their result this week. Can they be that dire 2 weeks running? Sacking a couple of coaches can often have a negative affect on a side

I feel munster will be carries, montpellier will win by more than 7 at home, and ulster by more than 10

Agreed on every result. Am slightly concerned that I have gone against the Irish provinces in two of my matches again. They proved me wrong last weekend!
