Last night my wife and I had the great pleasure of meeting Will Greenwood MBE who was visiting Bath as part of the publicity for this weekend's Heineken Cup Matches.  I have to say he is a thoroughly nice bloke with some great anecdotes which is hardly surpising considering he is a World Cup winner.  Will signed autographs all evening and must have had his picture taken with eveyone in the Pub!

Some of his stories were absolutely hillarious and I will certainly look at him in a different light when he told us about a particular incident in Cardiff when a group of patriotic Welshmen called him "Rodney Trotter".  He put that slur to bed in the second half of that game against Wales by scoring a hat trick of Tries.  Top Man!

The evening at the Cork and Bottle in Bath was very well attended and everyone seemed to have a great time.  The free beer certainly helped too!

It was great for this particular Bathonian to get his hands on the Heineken Cup and it would even better if it came home to Bath next Springtime!

Will forecast a 5 point win for Bath this weekend against Glasgow and I certainly hope he is right.  Bath must pick up the maximum available points over the next two weekends to set them up for the top of the table clash with Toulouse.

A great night was had by all.
