Injury concerns for Lions opener

The Lions have their first injury concerns ahead of their opening tour match against a Royal XV tomorrow in Rustenburg.

Andy Powell (hand) and Stephen Ferris (calf) are both concerns following a tough week training at altitude.

McGeechan has many options should Powell be unavailable, with Joe Worsley equally comfortable at Number 8, or David Wallace able to slot in if necessary. A final decision will be made on both players on Saturday morning.

Lions assistant coach Graham Rowntree has said that the Lions have “various contingency plans.” but how do you think this will affect the opening match in the tour?
