  1. the starting team picks itself, bar 4, 9, 10 and 13 and 11 4 i would have ryan starting 9 murray/ reddan and sexton always bring out the best of each other 10 sexton 13 mc fadden, earls and bowe seem the only contenders i would pick mc fadden, bowe earls in that order. Bowe 14 Trimble 11 earls on the bench after that no major surprises hopefully ruddock or henry get the back row bench spot.

  2. Trimble must start. If Kidhey was brave he’d go

    9 Murray
    10 O Gara
    11 Earls
    12 Sexton
    13 Bowe
    14 Trimble
    15 Kearney

O Driscoll has carried Darcy & I’d like to see us move away. We don’t have any real centres options however & I’d rather see Bowe placed inncentre over Earls who is yet to shone there for Ireland

If Roberts gets back for Wales Darcy cannot start ad he was destroyed by Roberts in the world cup & was caught napping for Philips try as well

  3. My team for Wales would be;
    1 Healy
    2 Best
    3 Ross
    4 Ryan
    5 O Connell
    6 Ferris
    7 O Brien
    8 Heaslip
    9 Murray
    10 Sexton
    11 Trimble
    12 D’arcy
    13 McFadden
    14 Bowe
    15 R Kearney

    16 Cronin
    17 Court
    18 O Callaghan
    19 O Mahoney
    20 Reddan
    21 O Gara
    22 Earls
I still have doubts about Keith Earls in the at 13 even after the Northampton game which is why I would go for McFadden but it is a close call between him and O Malley.

  4. Decies team for Wales would be;
    1 P. Wallace
    2 P. Wallace
    3 P. Wallace
    4 P. Wallace
    5 P. Wallace
    6 P. Wallace
    7 P. Wallace
    8 P. Wallace
    9 P. Wallace
    10 P. Wallace
    11 P. Wallace
    12 P. Wallace
    13 P. Wallace
    14 P. Wallace
    15 P. Wallace

I predict a breakthrough year for Paddy – Chance to shine at let’s us see what he’s really capable of! My bets he will come on in the grand slam winning final game and really fluff it this time!

  5. No Conway? No Fionn Carr? No Ian Keatley?
I haven’t been following the domestic fixtures as I’m living abroad but I had been pretty sure these guys would have made the cut at this stage, are they not living up to their potential or is it a talking point at home as well?
I thought Hagan would have been in there also, injured or just not playing well enough?

    1. Conway has been injured for most of the season with an angle problem so dave kearney has got his chance! he is playing very well when he gets the opportunity
Fionn carr is class but has major defensive weaknesses and isn’t getting the game time at leinster because of this but with 2 kearneys fitz(injured) bowe trimble and earls theirs not much room for other wingers and zebo who i don’t rate defensively either got the call up but doubt he will see anything other than a tackle bag!
Hagan got his first start in HC the other day against motipelleir but hasn’t been playing enough maybe if he stayed with connacht would of got in instead of brett.
Hagan is definitely one for the future.
