Ireland names strong side to face Italy

Eddie O’Sullivan names strong team

Eddie O’Sullivan has named his strongest possible line-up to play Italy on Friday at Ravenhill.  Andrew Trimble replaces the injured Brian O’Driscoll at outside centre, with Geordan Murphy taking Trimble’s place on the right wing – otherwise, the team in unchanged from the side that beat Bayonne last week.

Paul O’Connell will wear the captain’s armband for Ireland’s final warm-up match before the Rugby World Cup.
