  1. Quality side, quality coach. Have to be favourites. Wales may not have been on top form, but nobody has dismantled them in that manner for a long time.

My hope, from an England perspective, is that Heaslip, after his first collision with Vunipola, decides to have one of those games where he hides on the wing!

  2. Heaslip wont go hiding on the wing on saturday thats for sure, this game is going to be a cracker both sides will be flying in. The way i see it is 50 / 50 as to what way this will go but if the rain starts to come down it’ll be englands game to loose. Worth mentioning though that irelands front row replacments look stronger and may make a bigger impact if you ask me that may make a difference. As an irish fan this makes a very rare change that our replacment front row mite actualy be as strong if not stronger scrumagers than england like thats un-heard of.
Bias but ireland by 3 points

  3. I think that England’s best chance would have been to dominate the scrum and work off the possession and territory and disruption of the Irish scrum to put pressure on. Unfortunately, having watched David Wilson at the weekend I think England will be suffering the opposite.

Ireland to dominate at the scrum and deny England good ball and finish them off with better gameplan and finesse from a combination of better experience and tactics. I think I picked Ireland by 7, but I could easily see this being a mullering

  4. Oh we’ll that’s that then. May aswell not watch it. Foregone conclusion.

I think it will be a cracking game. Two best performing fullbacks in the tournament, sexton coming off a great game two weeks ago and Farrell growing in conference. Care and Murray have both been class.
Ireland’s back row was awesome against wales but England’s pack is arguably the best in the tournament. It will be interesting to see what the loss of cole does as fortunately England have he’d the luxury of not having to know what life’s like without him for a while.

But for me the match ups all over the park are mouthwatering enough, and after that we will see what game plan each team brings.

    Could go either way.

England sneak it with twickenham crowd behind them.

    1. Just because I’ve predicted an England loss doesn’t mean a match isn’t worth watching. Just expressing the view that England will likely come off second best neither means they will or that there won’t be something worth watching. I’ve been wrong before. The joy of predicting against England is I can win either way.

I do think Ireland’s game plan, experience and skill have shown in the first two games and I think England have been relatively lacking. Doesn’t mean there won’t be a game to be played
