  1. It’ll be good to see how JOC goes at fly-half, especially against Cipriani!

Both young talents, one proven on the international stage though and the other utterly wasted so far

I think if I was coaching the Ozzies, I’d take and Barnes and Horne aside and tell them just to run at Cipriani all game

Mind you, with Kaino and Bergamasco at flanker and Mortlock at inside centre, JOC is going to have a pretty tough game himself

    1. Agreed – especially interesting since JOC will be playing outside Cipriani for the Rebels in 2012.

      Should be fun.

  2. Oh and look out for Ben Tapuai coming off the bench. He had a great season last year for the reds and sliced up the Canadians in a RWC warm up.

I’m only marginally bitter that this is a more attacking backline that we fielded for the majority of the RWC…

  3. Wouldnt be suprised to see Beale playing at 10 for teh Rebels next year – Cips will have a lot of competition on his hands next year, hopefully it will be good for him

    1. Think the idea for the Rebels is to have Cipriani, O’Connor and Beale cut loose alongside the more solid figures of Mortlock, Gerrard and Huxley. Good mix.

  4. JoC at 10 instead of Barnes – well it is a Baabaas game! I wonder who they’d play if it was NZ or SA as the opposition?
