Well Ireland are up to No. 2 now, but Oz did win the SH Ch’ship, so their stock has risen.

The ABs raised their intensity @ the br’down & scrum, gaining more ball; @ least after the 1st 1/4. Their defence held too, not allowing Oz much until Folau’s late try.

However, Cooper’s yellow really hurt Oz & dumped on his chances of starting again methinks.

The 2 DC’s combined for a belter & Carter showed his exp & guile throughout. Also kicked better. After that it was really up hill for Oz. Also less comments regds Carter’s & other over 30’s ages now, esp with Nonu’s brace.

Age is relative. Exp is a valuable commodity though, so dunno why Lancaster keeps bringing it up with a 6 in a row loss record v the SH in the last yr or so.

That’s what they do. Make the 2nd best team in the world look like a bunch of girls. But in the World cup it could be different, nerves are the only thing that can beat the Ab’s – themselves.

They just have the knack of stepping up the gears when they need to. The ABs really know how to up intensity when they need to, consequently the Aussies couldn’t live I with them. Putting aside the occasional win, when you catch them warm as opposed to hot, I can’t see any team offering a consistant challenge to their coveted position.
