Pontylad, Shingler has been called up now (and about time too). But that doesn’t alter your good point. Steff Evans is simply outstanding now.

Shingler has been called up. I think Steff Evans has needed a little more time and the (relatively) less stressful June tests are a great stage for him to perform and really get people excited.

The exclusion of James Davies is perplexing and his Sevens experience would make him invaluable against the natural athleticism of the South Sea teams.

Leaves a lot of questions that , why wasn’t Stef Evans capped in the 6 nations , why aren’t James Davies and Shingler on the Welsh summer tour .Maybe they don’t fit the prototype drone “non style ” of the Welsh coaching set up .
