Completely disagree!

Not only does it overlook the fact you can win less games and win the league. But, it also ignores the fact that the top teams miss varying amount of players for Premiership games due to international matches.

The play-off system is not only the fairest way, but it raises money and interest in the game.

As a Bristol supporter I would be tempted to let my heart agree with you (almost every year). BUT the league doesn’t work like that (in any top rugby league), and so the teams plan accordingly – apparently apart from Bristol!

And run the risk of having a winner who has won fewer games but with more bonus points? No, I’d take the play-off format anytime, you have a fair winner at the end of the day.

I’m a Leicester supporter so neutral were today’s game was concerned, I think the result today was a travesty of justice, as far as I’m concerned there should be no playoffs whoever finishes top of the table are outright champions !!! The play offs is just a money making exercise at the expense of players who are expected to play too many games !!!!!!

From a neutral’s point of view, the game took a while to get going but in the end it had all the drama I could take. On the day, Northampton deserved to win purely for the better attacking display and holding their nerve at the end.
