  1. Thought that the Scots played fairly well for most of the match, but boy oh boy do those kiwis know how to score tries. Brutal. Can’t see anyone beating them on this tour, even though I think that they can be beaten! Thought Visser, Denton and Gray all showed why they should be on the plane with the Lions.

    1. I’d agree, although Visser’s defence leaves something to be desired. Even lacking some key personnel though, how good are the All Blacks?

  2. This was a great match to watch. New Zealand showed why they are number 1 in the world with some brutal displays of clinical play. One positive for Scotland was Tim Visser. I think if he can score twice against the world champs them he has shown his Lions credentials. He is a bolt on starter for me now with North on the other wing. Bowe and Ashton are pushing but I think Visser is the form choice right now.

  3. My starting Lions team based on fitness and presumed form would be the following:

    1. A. Sheridan
    2. R. Best
    3. D. Cole
    4. C. Lawes
    5. A. W. Jones
    6. S. Ferris
    7. S. Warbuton
    8. T. Faletau

    9. D. Care
    10. J. Sexton
    11. T. Visser
    12. J. Roberts
    13. M. Tuilagi
    14. G. North
    15. R. Kearney

    16. G. Jenkins
    17. A. Jones
    18. D. Hartley
    19. R. Gray
    20. C. Robshaw
    21. M. Phillips
    22. T. Flood
    23. L. Halfpenny

  4. A spirited display by Scotland scoring three tries today. Huge improvement from last years shambolic Six Nations campaign(i was in Rome). Unfortunately Dan Carter was sublime, the Scots made too many basic errors and were simply outclassed by the best rugby playing nation in the world as was accurately reflected in the 22-51 score line.

  5. Quality of the match was Amazing its all ways a good match when you have the all blacks involved this is just the pure skill to speed the tempo of the game up to a very high and when the southern Hemisphere are at the top of their game the Other team increases their gameplay because they are having to try harder, but come on really this is a fair result which we all pretty much expected, scotland are where they should be and new zealand well what can i say?
