  1. Brad Davies is a loss in the engine room (don’t think Jones is a 2nd row even thos he had a great game last week) but Gethin and Lydiate more than make up for his loss in the overall standard of the pack. Should beat Scotland by 20 in Cardiff in my opinion.

  2. Looks a strong team to me, hopefully Gethin Jenkins is going to be on top form along with Lydiate who is also coming into the squad after injury, but Scotland will be a tough team to beat.

  3. Tipuric rolled his ankle in Dublin and so is injured for this weeks game. Dropping him from the 22 for no reason after his 2nd half performance on Sunday would have been pretty harsh!

  4. This is a very strong team, with Alun wun jones to return for the English game a strong squad, barring injuries Wales will be the team to beat this year

  5. Good luck Wales on Sunday though i dont think you will need it. Wales were excellent against Ireland and fully desereved the win.
Ihave to say i thought Wales played above themselves in the World Cup and Ireland would find them out how wrong i was.
I.M.O. Wales France will be the Grand Slam decider what a game that will be.

  6. Sorry, name showed up. Balon – obviously some sort of inbred – some people should not be allowed on these sites if there remarks are racist, obviously jealous he is not Welsh

  7. Rhys Gill can be classed as unlucky in missing out on the squad as he performed well last Sunday probably it;s because Paul James can cover both sides of the scrum and Gatland (understandably ) always plays Gethin when he is fit .

Otherwise not so long ago with three first choice locks out Wales would have really struggled but that pack certainly doesn’t look any weaker than last week’s so strength in depth may be coming up front at last.
