RWC Warm-Ups: Wales announce team to face England at the Millennium Stadium

Wales have announced their line-up to face England on Saturday. Rhys Priestland continues at 10 following his emergency switch from full-back before the start of last week’s test match, with James Hook coming in at full back. Gavin Henson returns to the Wales side at inside centre, partnering Jamie Roberts.

What do you think of the Wales side? Can they reverse last weekend’s defeat at Twickenham?

  1. No 2nd row cover
Why are we bothering with Charteris?
Adam and geth not there (you might want to edit adam out)
gav/roberts could work but could easily not – a lot depends on henson
    hook is not a 15
Didn’t expect Faletau to be given another shot, really should have seen Delve
    Is Ryan injured?

  2. If I was a Welsh fan I’d be wholly uninspired by this team. Scrum will suffer once again, maybe be more so with Cole back for England. Henson will be targeted relentlessly by all the big runners. Priestland and Hook should be swapped.

Also, why not give Brew a start ahead of Shane or North to save their energy, they’re obviously first choice so let someone else show what they can do. For Faletau it’s now or never, great talent but not coming through fast enough.

  3. i think wales can beat anyone on the day but they also have a low for about 20 mins
you have to play qt your best for the whole time and all 15 players give 100%
and have the passion to win that is all it takes ,
