If we look at the top 10 in the world, remove the 5 European teams, that leaves New Zealand (where England are), South Africa (Wales), Australia (France are apparently there….), Argentina (Ireland) and Samoa.

So we could do *another* tour of the pacific Islands (except Italy are doing that, picking up the PI teams that aren’t playing in the Pacific Nations cup). So we’re doing the same as Italy, but doing the Asia/Pacific pool of teams (minus Japan).

We’re 8th in the world, and if the teams above us are all playing each other, who exactly do we play? I wonder if fans in New Zealand are complaining about not challenging themselves against better opposition…..
