Scotland team to play Australia

Andy Robinson has named his Scotland side to take on Australia in Newcastle on Tuesday. Uncapped prop Ryan Grant starts at loosehead prop with two more uncapped players in Tom Ryder and Tom Brown on the bench. Scotland have not won a match since defeating Georgia at last year’s Rugby World Cup.

  1. I’m pretty sure he has a week or two to wait before he qualifies to represent Scotland in their national team on residency grounds.

  2. Tim “Mc” Visser (as many rugby types here in scotland are now calling him) qualifies for scotland on residency grounds on the 12th June

  3. Australia are not putting there strongest team forward so I am actually predicting a close Scotland loss. That is if they can keep up with the pace of southern hemisphere rugby.

    Never underestimate Scotlands ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

  4. It makes me sad being a half Scot to see the potential of the team on paper compared with the results they produce. If only they were more clinical and could finish their line breaks.

    1. You are lacking in the backs department I think. That’s Scotland’s main problem. Everywhere else is fine. Line breaks -> backs
