South Africa team to face Australia

Peter de Villiers has named an unchanged side to take on Australia in the next instalment of the Tri-Nations on Saturday.

The Springboks are sitting pretty at the top of the world after impressive back to back victories over the All Blacks. Everywhere you look in this side there is strength, and a current World XV wouldn’t look too much different in my opinion.

Three in a row at home for South Africa? I cannot see the Wallabies prevailing where New Zealand failed.

South Africa: F Steyn; JP Pietersen, J Fourie, J de Villiers, B Habana; M Steyn (Bulls), F du Preez; T Mtawarira, B du Plessis, J Smit, B Botha, V Matfield, H Brussow, J Smith, P Spies.
Replacements: C Ralepelle, J du Plessis, A Bekker, D Rossouw, R Januarie, R Pienaar, A Jacobs.

  1. Robbie Deans is a good coach and would’ve worked out a plan before comming over, I think the game may be tighter than everyone expects.
