I’m loitering mid-table in most of my SuperBru pools at the moment, but I’m confident about my picks this weekend – what can go wrong this time?
Home wins have to be the order of the weekend, and I’m expecting comfortable wins by the Blues and the Crusaders at home to the Rebels and the Highlanders respectively.
Then there’s a chance that the Aussie teams will trip me up again, but I’ve gone for a Reds victory over the Waratahs and, slightly controversially perhaps, I think the Force will beat the Bulls. They took down the Brumbies last weekend, and the Bulls have lost two on the bounce and are coming to the end of their tour with thoughts turning to home.
The Sharks at home to the Hurricanes ought to be straightforward, and then I’ve gone for the Chiefs to pick up the only away win of this round at the Lions. Neither side has put together a string of results yet, but I’m leaning towards the Chiefs to get their Away tour off to a good start in the first fixture.
Here are my Super Rugby predictions for Round 10 – let me know what you think:
Blues v Rebels: Blues by 17
Crusaders v Highlanders: Crusaders by 21
Reds v Waratahs: Reds by 8
Force v Bulls: Force by 5
Sharks v Hurricanes: Sharks by 11
Lions v Chiefs: Chiefs by 8
