The Rugby Blog Caption Competition V

To celebrate the ‘MARS Balls Get Britain Playing’ campaign, Mars have been good enough to sponsor our latest Caption Competition.

The campaign is giving sports fans the opportunity to play on the same team as sports icons John Barnes, Darren Gough, Austin Healey and Pat Cash in the MARS Bounce Off to be held on June 14th in Battersea Park. The sporting heroes will go head-to-head in a series of football, cricket, tennis and rugby games, each with a team hand-picked from members of the public via an online competition at www.marsballsgetbritainplaying.com.

Check out the link for your chance to take part, or just to find out more details about the free-to-attend event next month.

In the meantime, the best FIVE captions that could accompany the image below will receive a summer’s supply of Mars bars as well as a free rugby ball.

Given that it’s a multi-sport event, we’ve taken the opportunity to feature an image from the round-ball game, so let us know what you think is going on in this exchange between Peter Crouch and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Caption Competition

As always, one entry per person, and the competition will close on Wednesday 27th May.

  1. Apparently they run into each other at full pace, knock them to the ground as hard s they can….and just get straight up afterwards!

  2. CR: “Since you’re 6ft 7, how big is your c*ck?”
    PC: “Well you know…THIS BIG!”
CR: “Well, being that tall, you lanky t***, it should at least be THIS BIG!”

  3. PC: The last corn-on-the-cob I was munching on was THIS big
CR: That’s nothing mine was THIS big

  4. “Who tampered with my underwear in the changing rooms”
“Oh Christy, if I’d known you’d get so upset I’d never have turned your G-string inside out”

  5. Peter Crouch

“Look Christiano, how many times do I have to tell you, the rules state that when you dive your feet are meant to be together, yours were a least this far apart.”

  6. Ronaldo thought that Crouch’s impersonation of Macauley Culkin in Home Alone was less than convincing.
