The Rugby Blog Predictions League update

After three rounds of the Guinness Premiership, all the promise of the most competitive season ever appears to be coming true. The Rugby Blog’s prediction league on SportGuru has seen mixed success, and with so many surprise results, the first three rounds have been a thorough test.

Here are the standings for the top 10. There wasn’t room to get all 81 of us on here, so you’ll have to visit the SportGuru site to see where you are in the league.

‘PK’ is edging it at the top of the table from ‘Dan Dan Dan Dan Dan’ by virtue of picking up more bonus points for being the closest to the actual result more often.

‘Rob H’ was leading the way after two rounds, but has been bumped to third after a disapointing round. Os du Randt deserves a mention in sixth place (nicknamed ‘OS’), although for all his international caps and legendary status in the game, he is still only level on points with my wife, ‘Mrs Hutch’.

Stand by for a full report from the weekend’s action in the Premiership, which is being written right now.

  1. James – the shame of it! Glad I didn’t let my wife play. Mind you, after the first two rounds I think my 2 year old daughter would have done better than me.
