The Rugby Blog Writers pick their Six Nations Fantasy XVs

This year at The Rugby Blog we’ll be hosting a league on SuperBru’s Six Nations Fantasy Rugby game, so we thought we’d share with you our writers’ teams.

Those picking are Jamie Hosie (Scotland), James Hutchison (England – team in visual form on the right), Alex Shaw (England), Hugh Foyle (Ireland), Charlie King (Scotland) and Calum Gillon (Scotland). You can be the judge of whether national biases come through! And bear in mind not all starting line-ups have been announced yet, so changes can be made in the next couple of days.

Remember there’s a limit of four players per nation, and you need someone as a kicker. The back row and back three are flexible, i.e. you can pick three wingers or three fullbacks, it doesn’t matter.

It’s also worth bearing in mind that on the SuperBru game, points can be won for things like tackles, scrum success and metres made, rather than just tries, assists and appearances, as is the case in other games.
