Wales team to face New Zealand

Warren Gatland has recalled prop Paul James to his starting line-up to face New Zealand on Saturday, and he’ll win his second international cap 6 years after his debut.

James Hook has been selected at full-back only a few days after reports from the Wales camp that they wouldn’t be playing him out of position.

Here’s the team – can they beat the All Blacks?

WALES: James Hook; Leigh Halfpenny, Tom Shanklin, Jamie Roberts, Shane williams; Stephen jones, Gareth Cooper; Gethin Jenkins, Matthew Rees, Paul James, Alun Wyn Jones, Luke Charteris, Andy Powell, Martyn Williams, Ryan Jones (capt)
Replacements: Huw Bennett, Duncan Jones, Bradley Davies, Dafydd Jones, Martin Roberts, Jonathan Davies, Tom James

  1. Seconded Spike,

And although i haven’t seen many Magner’s games so far I also like the look of the rest of their team – backline has the ability to excite yet remains sturdy, and forwards look powerful yet mobile. Set piece should be good and a lot of powerful runners (if Andy Powell can stop getting isolated off his feet).
