Gallagher Premiership 2019/20: Round 3 Predictions

Here are my predictions for the Gallagher Premiership, which continues under the radar this weekend.

I managed 5 out of 6 correct picks in Round 2, with only Bath’s win over Exeter eluding me, as it did for 90% of people on Superbru.

Here are my predictions for Round 2 of the Gallagher Premiership.

Bristol v Sale
The Sharks had a big win away at London Irish last weekend, but I’d expect the Bears to take this one at Ashton Gate, given their encouraging start to the season. Bristol by 9

Northampton v Harlequins
Quins have not won at Franklin’s Gardens since 2012, and with the Saints at the top of the table, a home win seems the most likely outcome. Northampton by 6

Leicester v Gloucester
It has been a tough start for the Tigers so far, and although the home team usually wins this fixture, I fancy Gloucester to nick this one. Gloucester by 4

Saracens v London Irish
Sarries are struggling with absences through international duty as well as injury, but they should still win this comfortably. Saracens by 23

Wasps v Bath
Wasps are without a win so far, and Bath will take some confidence from that victory over Exeter, and thy might just nick it. Bath by 4

Worcester v Exeter
The Warriors can be tough to beat at home, but as with Saracens last week, I’m not ready to start picking against the Chiefs. Exeter by 13

Gone closer with the Bristol result as I think Sale will be really good this season and I wouldn’t be surprised if they nicked a win here. Bigger margins for Glos and Northampton who have both started off well. Gone fairly similar in the other predictions, although maybe a bit closer for Worcester as Exeter haven’t hit their straps yet. Sure that Baxter will turn it around fairly soon.
