  1. STOP THE PRESS! I get the feeling those in charge are after a Leinster win next year….a much easier domestic league and a simple European group stage. The players will be rested and no doubt they will have a home quarter and semi final as they have for the past two seasons. I don’t think any team will be able to stop them with the fixtures and rest – not even the power and depth of Saracens. I fancy Toulouse to have another good year and Exeter should have a strong showing, especially with a favourable draw for them as well. They deserve to have a good showing on the European stage.
If Saracens do somehow win the competition next year – they would 100% be the best club side ever.
My money would be on Leinster and their seriously friendly fans……..

    1. Northampton is on the rise and Lyon are recruiting quite good, both of them might be harder than you expect. I also don’t see the Pro14 behind the french and English league. Leinster, Munster, Ulster, Glasgow, Edinburgh are playing quite good, and I expect one welsh team to ve quite good next season. It might be more competitive than the English premiership this year, were Exeter and Saracens are far the rest of the teams. Lets hope Gloucester and Northampton grew their level to be able to compite with them, and may be Wasps can get close to there next season.

  2. Post WC fatigue could be a factor in the first round of games after which it will depend on how teams manage their squads
Pool 1 with the Italian team seems likely to have 2 qualifiers. Pools 4&5 look tough and would expect teams to take points off of each other and try bonuses to be more scarce so would expect the other runner up spots to come from Pools 2&3
