Philippe Saint-André has named his 31-man squad for the Rugby World Cup in September. The biggest talking point is the omission of François Trinh-Duc, with the fly-half seemingly not having done enough to force himself into the final squad after having been recalled to the wider group earlier this year.
In his stead, Freddie Michalak and Rémi Tales are the only two recognised fly-halves in the squad, with Rory Kockott, Morgan Parra, Sébastien Tillous-Borde the scrum-halves.
Other players who would have come close to selection but eventually missed out include prop Xavier Chiocci, lock Sébastien Vahaamahina, number eight Loann Goujon and centre Rémi Lamerat.

As you know by now, we are hilarious, and you should be following us on Facebook and Twitter.
They will regret leaving out Trinh Duc. Not playing him in final in 2011 probably cost them RWC !
Yep could not agree more with your view of 2011 and 2015.
Added to this Michalak has a track-record of being absolutely awful.
