  1. Pat Lam would be my choice for Director.
The dream team is fair enough but with some inevitable close calls. I would include Dan Cole who, along with George Ford, was a major reason for Tigers staying up. Joe Marler, Harry Thacker, Ed Slater, Mike Brown and Luke Morahan have decent claims.
Pleased to see Mark Atkinson selected. Think he has been excellent, a perfect foil for Cipriani and one of the Premiership’s most under rated players.

  2. How is Curry a discovery winner. He already had an England cap prior to the season start.

Dombrant should have won that one.

  3. Of the 4 Glous, 4 Sarries, 3 Ex, 1 Sale, 1 N’thampton, 1 Bris & 1 Quin Dream Team players, only 4 are likely Japan bound! Bit worrying? Nevertheless, an interesting team with 10 ‘English’ (or qual’d) players included. Decent call to have Kvesic (another Jones discard) in a positive looking back row. Pity no reserves bench, otherwise guys like Underhill, (of THAT ‘try’ fame v NZ) Morgan, even Kruis & Itoje, might have featured alongside Watson, Brown, Care, perhaps Joe Simpson? Who knows? Also concerning may be the lack of an England midfield.. & locking.. combo?
