It may have been a final, but both Fiji and Samoa stayed true to their guns and played some scintillating rugby, scoring some belting tries in the process. There were another two sensational scores for Glasgow’s Leone Nakawara, and one for Bath-bound Niko Matawalu, while for Samoa winger Fa’atoina Autagavaia scored a sublime solo effort.

Hope the momentum is carried on to the world cup, the forwards setpieces have improved thanks to support staff, need more core strength, endurance, making decisions when fatigued, and the players need to be grounded, don’t listen to hype when they in uk, for once there is a significant aura about this Fiji Team….remember the players need to earn the right to wear the Fiji jersey …and forget your life when you play 80mins, England will be ur final, oz ur semifinal, Wales ur quarterfinal n uruguay ur pool game…..when u run out on 18th of September to face England, let them have it!!!don’t leave the field regretting…. U have one shot……kill it!!

Fiji look to be full of confidence and they have always had the broken field skills throughout the team – didn’t see much of the setpiece in this video although the 1 restart i did see they dropped, wondering if the set piece may be their undoing? Matawalu looks full of pace ansd directness – he could be the final cog for Bath this year!
Pity Fiji are in Pool A – they probably would make the QFs again if they were in Pool B.
