Australia flanker and vice captain Michael Hooper has been cited for the below incident, in which he appears to strike an Argentina player off the ball. It happened during his side’s 34-9 win over the Pumas at the weekend – check out the footage below and leave your thoughts on any potential ban in the comments section.

Not good for Hooper. That looks like a very vicious punch.
He could be looking at a lengthy ban
Hopefully, the provocation will limit the ban to no more than two weeks. Otherwise, he’ll have done a ‘Dylan’!
Yeah it’s another Dylan isn’t it? He’s clearly held back but that reaction is totally unacceptable.
Shockiing he shouldg et a lengthy ban for that totally unprovoked ..man of his experience should know better
‘appears to strike’ …Was this written by Hooper’s defending barrister at a discipline hearing?
The guy HAS to be banned and miss the entire RWC.
Dont grab him as his support could mean try or no try. Referee should thank him for pointing out the original breach of the rules.
Minimum 6 games!
Howler- he is so calm after the incident as well. Carries his line as if nothing happened
