Argentina team to play Australia

argentinaHead coach Santiago Phelan has made two changes to his Pumas side after their loss to the All Blacks. Veteran centre Felipe Contepomi is called back into the side at the expense of Santiago Fernandez, while Bath winger Horacio Agulla starts instead of Lucas Amorosino.

Argentina are yet to win a game, but at home to the struggling Wallabies this weekend they have their best chance to correct that statistic.

“As always, we think we have our best 15 to start the game,” said Pumas coach Santiago Phelan. “Felipe and Horacio are two great players who bring a lot to the team. The team has been playing well and these two experienced players are important.”

  1. Going to back the Pumas this time. They’ve looked so dangerous plenty of times, the talent and passion are there and a big strong pack facing down a weaker pack by all accounts.

    Pumas by 12.

    1. I think your spot on with what your saying, but I think the backs lack of execution will prevent the margin of victory from being all that big. Still Viva Los Pumas!
