Australia team to play Italy

Head Coach Ewen McKenzie has made just one change to the side that lost at Twickenham last weekend, with fit again Rob Simmons coming onto the blindside flank in place of the injured Scott Fardy. There are three changes on the bench, where Dave Dennis, Liam Gill and Joe Tomane come in for Kane Douglas, Ben McCalman and Bernard Foley respectively.

McKenzie keeps the faith with the front row that were badly beaten up by England, despite the scrum being an area of strength for the Italians.

Italy have not beaten Australia in 15 attempts, although they did come very close last year in Rome when the Wallabies snuck home by just three points after squandering a 16 point lead.
