Crockett and Lipman appeal dismissed

Alex Crockett and Michael Lipman’s appeal against a nine-month suspension by the RFU was dismissed at a hearing in London today.

Crockett and Lipman, together with Andrew Higgins were found guilty of ‘conduct prejudicial to the interests of the game’ by failing to take drug tests at their club. Higgins has since left the sport without appealing, and today, Lipman and Crockett’s appeals have been thrown out.

Crockett and Lipman can play again on February 28, 2010.
