  1. Agree with you on Marler, but Dan Cole might have something to say about the tighthead jersey. I haven’t seen too much of Corbisiero though to be fair.

Very much looking forward to this game – it’s a great warm up for the main event next week, and hopefully some of these boys will make a strong case for senior honours.

  2. Looks like a very balanced side. Centre pairing is probably better than anything the senior squad will throw up and the front row with Marler and Corbs looks immense!

And lets not forget Jimmy will be pleased Narraway is playing!

  3. I would love see this side take on the senior team think they would run them very close! Great testament to the state of our squad at the mo

  4. Good lineup. Interesting they’ve gone with a creative 12 rather than a bosher in Brad Barritt. And with Tuilagi’s offloading game they could cause some problems, as long as Myler stands flat enough which he doesn’t always.

Literally never heard of Graham Kitchener. But good luck to him all the same, sure he’s a lovely chap.

  5. Decent looking side. Very interested to see how Twelvetrees goes at 12, was surprised to see him in there. Hopefully our second string can put real pressure on the senior squad.

  6. Im actually more excited about this side than the one that will face the Taffs next friday.

Nick – you know i can get a bit excited about Narraway, but see how hes moving closer to england!

Them back row balance looks excellent. Gaskell is a bit gawkey and really a line out guru @ 6’7 & only 16 stone.

Ive seen 12trees play a few games for Tigers @ 10 when big ears was injured, hes got a MASSIVE boot, is big @ 16 stone and got a lovely pass , short/long of both hands and can step.

Whether he has a decent rugby brain….still to be convinced but I still prefer him to Hape (not flutey – yet).

    Manu is….hard.

So those backs, with youngs & flood and foden inserted, with Englands current tight 5, plus Narraway Wood and Dowson….game ON!

Did i say i thought Narraway was a good no 8? he is BTW.

  7. And hutch @ 10?

You are right Hutch, Leicester are going to have a pretty tidy backline when tait arrives.
hopefully 12 trees will play @ 12, although Allen seems to be playing quite well there.

Although, if England are going to keep playing Youngs, Flood @ 9&10 then having your 12 & 13 playing @ club level and international….pretty special.

    Ashton / Sinbad / Foden back three….
