Jenkins names Wales squad

There were few surprises in Gareth Jenkins’ Wales squad for the Rugby World Cup.

Will James got the nod at second row at the expense of Rob Sidoli, whilst Lee Byrne also misses out after a sub-standard display against England last week.

Gareth Thomas has been named as captain, ahead of Stephen Jones, which could open the door for James Hook to start at fly-half – something many have been waiting for.
