Leeds beat Sarries as Sale hit rock bottom

Leeds Carnegie pulled off another Guinness Premiership victory today over early pace-setters Saracens, whilst Sale lost at home to Northampton.

Charlie Hodgson had a penalty kick in the dying moments to claim a losing bonus point, but it clattered off the post and left them with nothing from the match.

Meanwhile, Leeds leapfrogged Sale and Worcester to go 10th in the table, and their dogged fightback continues as they battle to avoid the drop.
