  1. archer in the subs. interesting. hope he gets a shout, at the right time and only if necessary or insignificant please declan. hope u bow out on a high note.

  2. Sexton now injured AGAIN. Jackson in at 10 and Madogan as sub.
Ireland’s injury problems this year have been extreme.

    1. very true B. dont forget reddan is on the list too, as well as all the others!

nice to see P.Marshall getting s shot though

  3. Alas the 6 nations for Ireland this year has been a calamity.
Hit by an unprecedented spate of injuries, the problems were compounded by suspect decisions.
Maybe changing the captain and dumping O’Gara would have been seen as inspired decisions were players like O’Connell, Ferris and Zebo playing but in their absence it was the wrong time to experiment.

    1. No doubt that Ireland are missing a huge number of players. By the end of the first half they had an entire 15 players injured, the majority of whom were first choicers.

I disagree that dropping ROG was a bad call, he was so awful that he dropped himself, and Jackson has looked pretty decent.

The silver lining for Ireland? They have been forced into blooding young players, which will only benefit them in the long run.
