Six Nations 2013: Scotland team to play France

Scott Johnson has named his team to play France on Saturday, with uncapped lock Grant Gilchrist set to get his first start and Alasdair Strokosch also reinstated on the blind-side.

  1. Interesting that Gilchrist has leap-frogged Alistair Kellock into the second-row.

    Strokosch for Harley will strengthen their back row I feel, as Harley, although he worked hard in defence looked a little lightweight against Wales and Ireland.

    Wow look at that Scotland have quite a lot of depth….

    1. Not sure about depth of scrum halves. Laidlaw one trick pony. Just because he kicks doesnt mean he cant be a sub. We need a plan b i.e Pyrgos. Weir can kick. Pat Mcarthur deserves a chance he was treated shoddily against Italy. Manager needs to experiment with players and not stick wiith the same old e.g Lamont!
