Some interesting choices.
Front row might struggle missing two our two first choice props and Hamish Watson over Hardie is a surprise though he has been playing well for Edinburgh.
Excited by the back line, Huw Jones looks a good prospect and great to see Dunbar back. Would’ve had Seymour in there on his Glasgow form but Maitland and Visser have been scoring a lot too so not too many complaints.
Defence is going to have to be much better than the summer after watching Australia’s attack last week, looking strong against an admittedly poor Welsh side.
You’re right about the defence, which makes it surprising that Cotter’s gone for Visser over Seymour. Visser’s defence is pretty crap, from what I’ve seen. Maybe Seymour’s injured or something?
Just read that Seymour was left out for personal reasons. Thought there must’ve been something wrong for him to miss out.
I think if Scotland can get some decent ball this back line can do some damage. Russell has a much better chance of getting something out of his back line than Biggar.
