  1. Did I read this correctly that Georgia rested some of their 1st team? Wow. Great effort, great defence. I know the Scoreline was comfortable but I’ve not seen NZ so error strewn and rattled in a long time.

  3. I genuinely hope that the Georgian coach’s pre match pep talk went something like “we have everything to play for and nothing to lose”. They should feel proud of the fact that they broke down AB’s defence and that the deficit could’ve been much bigger. The AB’s flowing passing wasn’t there, terrible ball handling and missed kicks to touch+penalties, which all made for a very stop start game. Wasn’t a huge amount of running phase ball and Georgia took their opportunities. Between 50-70mins, the game went flat and suddenly a last minute flourish by the AB’s secured the win. It could quite easily have stayed at 22-10 for much longer though.

  4. Great atmosphere in the stadium. Georgia 2nd string put in an almighty shift, but NZ were really poor in execution. There will be a few other teams out there taking note that they are certainly not invincible.

  5. Another stupid haircut and the All Blacks are gone. I see these haircuts on the streets of Sydney, and these are not people you would want to emulate. A haircut like these, and 50 points evaporate from your IQ. Look what Peronara did coming on against the Wallabies, twice. Savea has needed an intervention to try to reabilatate him. He’s not going too well. Milner-Skudder’s drop. and that was a limp ‘man of the match’ Carter’s game. How many points has he lost! Is Aaron Smith the barber? Look how he has gone on this campaign. I think these guys are trying to get home as soon as possible, to take up their real jobs as nightclub bouncers.
