Berrick Barnes retains his place at fly-half, despite the return to fitness of Quade Cooper, who is not involved in the matchday 22.

    1. Agreed, and it’s potentially an insight into the way they’ll approach the game. More tactical kicking and playing for territory perhaps?

  1. Front row and 10, 12, 13 is where i think Australia will struggle in this championship. Barnes, Faingaa and Horne – average at S15 level, not good enough for international.

    However, second/back row looks strong, Genia wins games by himself sometimes so they’ve got a chance.

    1. Agreed with the areas they will struggle. I think the missing Pat McCabe in the 12 channel will make a difference, I rate him very highly.

      Barnes is very much an average fly half and we all know they have the weakest from row in The Rugby Championship.
