Gurthro Steenkamp returns to the Springbok line-up to win his 50th cap this weekend in one of three changes to the starting line-up to play Wales this weekend.

  1. Looks like a strong team. Scary pack and massive back row

Anyone know why Steyn has withdrawn?

Also nice to see Brits get a spot on the bench

    1. Two rumours going around. One is that it’s to do with money, the other is that his knees are shot and they need to rest him. He’s off to Japan next year, which would support the first one, but he’s also played every minute of the Sharks’ Super Rugby campaign, which supports the latter. So who knows!

  2. Great team just concern about centre pairing, both players are excellent choices don’t get me wrong but peterson is no centre and jan never played with a strange centre choice but it can work who knows.I don’t doubt it I’m just concern

  3. Very strong back/2nd row. I would hope our centres can match up and we also have some gas on the wings. Still expect SA to win this by a comfortable score even if we do make them work hard for it during the match.

  4. Awesome team bring it on Wales, Bokke going to be awesome. Let’s see what Poite has install for us this time.

  5. With the best will in the world I do not believe that anyone will be thinking that Wales will win this encounter. However there is such a thing as National Pride – and heart. I believe that the team that Wales is putting up – in fact all of the lads are part of the most promising squad in recent years. They are capable of winning in the Northern Hemisphere and will give the Boks a run out. I will be looking for a couple of tries from Wales and some outstanding performances from the team – particularly the young hopefuls. If the result is close then it will still be to play for. We have so far seen a great initial game with an outstanding welsh try from one side of the field to the other. On South African turf. Hopefully more of the same. The team that comes home will be bigger than the one that left for SA.

  6. Still too few black players in this side Move should be starting every game. This side is too white for SA.

  7. Agggggg please Lawrence , get a life ! !! Its people like you that causes us not to move forward in this country. Who the *^$@# is Move ?

  8. I think you all are taking this match for granted… this will only add to the heart ache when wales trounce you!
